2012 End of the School Year for Levi!

At the end of every trimester Levi's school holds an awards assembly for all the children who earned an award for certain achievements! All 3 trimester Levi has earned at least 2 awards out of the 4!

He received 2 awards! One award for doing excellent in  Super Reading and the other for being kind to his peers  and teachers!

I had to squeeze this picture in of Kai. I thought it was cute! My friend thankfully had a sucker for Kai during the assembly to keep him distracted!

The last week of school was sure busy for Levi! He had a few field trips his class went on. One was the Whales Tales swimming program at the community pool. They walked there since it's so close to the school and had lunch at the park! The other field trip he got to attend was Wacky Tacky. It's a jumbo indoor play area! 

 

The very last day of school Levi's teacher had a class party for the kids.  She set up a water area for the kids to play in. Levi also took a HUGE bucket of water balloons! This is Levi's friend, Tessa! She was in his class last year too! Tessa told Levi she had a crush on him! 

This year Levi's class had 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. This little girl is Iseth and she is in the 3rd grade. Levi 's desk was right next to hers. He told me a week before school was out that he had a crush on her! He likes the older girls! He would act a little shy about it and wanted to make sure he got a picture with her! So cute!

Levi's teacher, Mrs. Phillips, is talking to the kids about how she is going to miss them and that there are quite the few that are leaving her class next year. Levi is one of them! He is now done with the LI Program and gets to attend 12 Bridges Elementary next school year! We are SO proud of him and all his hard work!

Levi gave teacher gifts. One of them was for Mr. Furgeson  who is  one of the class aids...he is so good at what he does for the kids! Levi gave him a BBQ mitt with tools inside!

On the card that Levi gave to Mr. Furgeson he wrote, "Thank you for being funny."

Mrs. Begley is the other class aid. She also is wonderful! Levi gave her a picnic basket with some items inside. It was really cute how she sat with Levi and talked to him about everything in the basket. She told him how much she was going to miss him and said, "I love you."

Levi is handing his gift to Mrs. Phillips. I can't say enough great things about this women! She is the BEST teacher EVER! I wish Levi could have her every year all the way through high school!

Levi got her beach bag with beach supplies inside! They had a great time opening it together. Mrs. Phillips is SO great with the kids...you can see it on Levi's face!

Love this! We are going to really miss her! Levi LOVES her like crazy!

SO SWEET! Just the other day Levi said, "Mom, Mrs.Phillips is old, but...she's pretty AND old!  Kids are sooo funny! GREAT job, Levi, on such a wonderful school year! We couldn't be prouder of you!
