| I got this stool free one day from a guy selling stuff on craigslist. |

| I didn't know what to do with it. I thought there had to be something I could do with it. It was a cute stool, but I hated the color. |

| I sanded it all down to the bare wood and painted it this blue color and distressed it A LOT! |

| I then stenciled with black paint these cute numbers on top! I actually printed the numbers out off my computer and cut them out with the exacto knife. |

| Pottery Barn is very big into numbering things. I don't really get why, but I think it's super cute! |

| I waxed the whole thing to protect it. |

| For now it sits on my fireplace hearth. |
